
OneTable has hired Amanda Herring to its Jewish Outdoor, Food and Environmental Education (JOFEE) Fellowship program. The program seeks to create ways to engage the community in Jewish life. Herring will receive training, mentorship and support. She will connect the local OneTable community to local sustainable food sources and producers, plan events, add new vendors and help OneTable’s hosts.

Melissa Heifetz has been appointed executive director of Congregation Beth Emeth in Herndon. She succeeds Linda Eisinger, who retired after 25 years in the position.
Heifetz has been a member of Congregation Beth Emeth for a dozen years, and has had a long career in the non-profit sector. Most recently, she was executive director of The Arc of Loudoun at Paxton Campus, where she was named the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce 2018 Non-Profit Executive Leader of the Year.
