On May 4, 2005 at the University of Maryland, a dream was realized. Two high school buddies set out to create their own clothing line—focusing on humor and vintage graphics.
Now, only six years after its launch, Crooked Monkey can be found at Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom, Pacific Sunwear, Kitson, and over 500 other fine retailers across the world (including Japan, Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia).
Crooked Monkey has established the Crooked Monkey Cares $1 Promise Scholarship Fund. For every 2 t-shirts sold online, they donate $1 to the fund, (some months they run special promotions to donate even more). Every year, they choose one lucky, qualified recipient to receive the scholarship for use at any college, or institution of higher learning that they desire. It’s that simple.
