Connie Kamerow, of Bethesda, died on June 18. She was 92. The daughter of Irving and Faye Perlmeter, she attended Roosevelt High School and Wilson Teachers College, both in Washington.

Connie was involved in many charitable organizations. She received the 2019 Founder’s Award from Save a Child’s Heart, 2016 Community Achievement Award from ORT, Service Award from Hebrew Academy of Greater Washington and “Shows Kindness to the Poor” from UJA among others. She was an organizer of the American Gathering of Jewish Holocaust Survivors and their Descendants in 1983.

She was predeceased by her husband, Milton L. Kamerow. She was the devoted mother of Deborah (Keith) Cohen Goodman, Jackie (Efi) Ben-Efraim and Haskel Kamerow; loving grandmother of Nadav (Annie) Cohen, Tali (Stephan) Arrington, Maital (David) Savin, Liat (Avraham) Mahler, Asa Ben-Efraim, Phil (Jackie) Goodman and Nate (Amy) Goodman; great-grandmother of 11 (who will all miss her midnight ice cream parties); and sister of Joan (Donald) Felker and Amy Baron.
