Zella Shabasson and Julian Rosenberg of Silver Spring announce the marriage of their son, David Ari Rosenberg to Jessica Olivia Young on May 18. Jessica is the daughter of Debra Young of Pleasantville, N.Y., and Steven Young of Manhattan, N.Y.
Jessica graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She earned an MFA in creative writing from the University of Michigan. Jessica teaches composition at American University.
David graduated from the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School and The George Washington University. He earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan. David is an NRC postdoctoral research associate at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. The couple resides in Washington, D.C.
