David Good, of Bethesda, died peacefully at his home on March 28. Born and raised in Wheeling, W.Va., as one of five children of Sidney and Jeannette Good.
David received a bachelor’s degree from Brown University in 1952, a master of laws degree from the University of Virginia Law School in 1955 and a master of laws (taxation) degree from Georgetown University Law School in 1961.

David served in the Munich Field Office, 66th Counter Intelligence Corps Group, U.S. Army, from 1956-1957. In recent years, he was active in the ACICV (Army Counter Intelligence Corps Veterans). David worked in the Tax Ruling Division of the Internal Revenue Service from 1959 to 1974, for two years as a tax law specialist in the Exempt Organization Branch and the remainder in the Reorganization Branch. After 1974, David was a partner in several general practice law firms until his retirement.

David is survived by his devoted wife of almost 28 years, Jane Weiman Good; a son, John (Stephanie) Good; and four stepchildren, David H. (Linda Schupack) Good, Pamela (Marc) Thiessen, Robert (Cara) Weiman and Jill (Kevin) Kowitz. He is also survived by four grandchildren, triplets Jonah, Nathan and Aaron Good, plus their sister, Maren Good; as well as 11 step-grandchildren, Matthew and Jamie Brunstad, Max, Jack, twins Lucy and Eva Thiessen, Sylvie, Lena and Theo Weiman, and Jake and Sophie Kowitz.
