090413obit_INGBER,DrAbrahamOn Monday, Aug. 26, Abraham Ingber of Rockville. He was born in Poking, Germany, on April 7, 1948, the first-born son of Saul and Miriam Ingber, Holocaust survivors, who were living in a displaced-persons camp.

An immigrant, Abe cherished every opportunity life afforded. He was a renowned dentist, an inventor, a philanthropist, a captain, an active member of Beth Sholom Congregation and Talmud Torah, a teacher, an entrepreneur, and an avid tennis player.

Most importantly, he was a beloved husband of Beth Ingber, loving father of Joshua (Christine), Ari and Ilana Ingber, dear son of Miriam and the late Saul Ingber, devoted brother of Haia (Tamir) Perlmutter and Morty Ingber (Vanessa Grant), caring brother in-law to Jerry and Debbie Goldkind, and Jodi and Alan Goldkind; doting uncle to Michael (Anessa), Lori (Jake Meringola), Kevin, Gregory, and Jayme Goldkind, and Penni, Samuel (Giselle) and Brana Perlmutter and Jessica and Ava Ingber, and Diovante Grant; cherished great-uncle of Grayson Goldkind, Ryan and Natalie Perlmutter. Also survived by many other beloved family members and friends.
