On Dec. 14, Edith W. Block of Washington, D.C. Beloved wife of the late Judge Samuel B. Block; devoted mother of Sue Ellen Klein and Deanie (Larry) Hotchkiss; dear sister of the late Roberta Hamovit and of the late Joseph Weinberg; cherished grandmother of Deborah Klein, Julia (Rodger Ames) Klein, Jennifer (Josh) Bagnato, Ryan (Jamie) Hotchkiss and Andy (Marni) Hotchkiss. Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Dec. 17 at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney. Memorial contributions may be made an organization of one’s choice.
