Elaine Sacks of Potomac, died suddenly Jan. 22 in Delray Beach, Fla., of a hemorrhagic stroke. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Sacks; her children, Alan Sacks (wife Sarah) and Michael Sacks; her grandchildren, Daphne, Shimon and Meir; her sister, Reva (husband Ken Pataki); her nieces and nephews, Cindy and Kevin Fitzgerald, Bonnie and Howard Sachs; and by great-nephews and great-nieces, Brandon Fitzgerald, Carli and Rafi Silver, Jamie and Josh Frankel, Lauren and Adam Wortheimer. Funeral services were held Jan. 26. Sacks, originally from Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, Pa., lived in Potomac since 1970. The family asks that donations be made to the Jewish National Fund or the American Cancer Society.
