On Dec. 21, Elaine Shuster, 67, of Silver Spring. A graduate of Peary High School in Silver Spring, Shuster attended Frostburg State University and the University of Maryland. Shuster was a para-educator with Montgomery County Public Schools for 27 years and also volunteered with Montgomery County Libraries. She was involved with ORT America, The One Hundred Club of Montgomery County and the Brandeis National Committee. She is survived by her mother, Shirley Kaplan (Harold, z”l), husband Gerald Shuster, son Eric Shuster, son Brian Shuster and daughter-in-law Mary Beth Shuster, grandchildren Emma and Ben Shuster and her sister, Susan Belsky.
