Carolyn and Herb Kolben of Bethesda have announced the marriage of their daughter, Elisabeth Kolben, to Mitch Stamper. Rabbi Brett Kriechvier officiated at the wedding in Indianapolis on Oct. 12. Mitch is the son of Janice and Gregory Stamper (divorced) of Pendleton, Ind., and the grandson of Mary and the late Dr. Robert Stamper and the late Wilbert and Phyllis Fredericks. Elisabeth is the granddaughter of Dr. Irwin and Pauline Kurtzack of Bethesda and the late Mimi and Ernest Kolben.
Elisabeth, an outreach coordinator for Almost Home Humane Society in Lafayette, Ind., is a graduate of Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School and Purdue University, where she majored in photography and media and minored in English. Mitch graduated from Purdue University, with a major in mechanical engineering.
