Elizabeth “Betsy” Singer, of Rockville, passed away on Dec. 22 from complications of Myotonic Dystrophy. She was 65. Betsy graduated from Brearly High School in New York City in 1973 and from Harvard-Radcliffe in 1977. She received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from New York University. Betsy maintained a private practice in Potomac and was a beloved member of Beth Sholom Congregation. Betsy is survived by her mother, Saralee Pincus; her brother, Peter; and her children, Rebecca (Yadira Ibarra) and David (Audrey Agot) Fox.
