Esther Hannah Temin, of Potomac, passed away on Dec. 10. She was 95. Born in 1925 in Washington, Esther (nee Crowell) grew up in Petworth and attended Theodore Roosevelt High School. She graduated from the George Washington University in 1948 with a degree in English. She married Samuel C. “Bud” Temin in 1947. Their children were born in Cleveland, Ohio.
After a long and active retirement in Boynton Beach, Fla., Esther and Bud returned to the Washington area in 2012.
Esther is survived by her children, Harriet (Patrick) Collins and Thomas (Robin) Temin; her grandchildren, Sarah Condon, P.J. Collins and Benjamin and Janice Temin; and three great-grandchildren. Arrangements entrusted to Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home.
