This Sunday we will discuss the movie “The Trial of the Chicago 7.  This movie is based on the true story of a disparate group of antiwar protest organizers, including Abbie Hoffman, who were charged with conspiracy to incite a riot, among other things, after demonstrations during the 1968 Democratic National Convention turned into brutal clashes with the Chicago police and the National Guard. Available on Netflix. “Let’s Talk About It!:  Discussions for Baby Boomers ++” is a Jewish (yet all interested persons are welcome, regardless of religious affiliation) mostly singles group 50+ which meets twice monthly on Sunday mornings.  We talk about either a topic, movie, or book in the context of concerns that affect our lives.  Our dialogues afford participants the opportunity to get to know one another and make new friendships.
