A group of 18 young Jewish professionals spent Sunday afternoon volunteering at Common Good City Farm in northwest Washington, D.C. The group picked mint and basil, pulled tomatoes off the vines, watered rows of plants and moved compost. The event was organized by the Jewish Food Experience, a group under the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington umbrella.
