Fay Rosen Wolf passed peacefully at her home in Bethesda on May 11. Fay was born in New York on Dec. 14, 1928. Fay was predeceased by her first husband of 28 years, the late Daniel I. Rosen; and her second husband of 10 years, the late Seymour D. Wolf. Beloved mother of Robin Rosen Roller and Lawrence Robert Rosen (Cathy). Grandmother of Deborah J. Brice (Matt), Daniel J. Roller (Brandi) and Mollie Rosen Hethcoat (Brandon). Great-grandmother to Colin, Justin and Finn Brice, and Remy Roller.

Fay and Gloria Liebenson founded Creative Interiors, in 1962. As young mothers, they were able to work and raise their families. Fay received her interior design certification from the District of Columbia Board of Interior Design. In the 1980s, Fay helped to start Dimensions, a social group for recently widowed singles.

As a Kennedy Center Docent for over 30 years, Fay went on to become a Kennedy Center ambassador. Fay’s other volunteer efforts included the NIH Cancer Center and the Women’s Commission of Montgomery County. Fay was the social director at the Fallswood, in Bethesda, where she resided. She received awards from the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation and Family and Child Services of Washington D.C.
