On Sunday, Oct. 13, Gertrude Karpman, of Silver Spring. Beloved wife of the late Robert H. Karpman; devoted mother of Michael and Ellen Karpman; cherished grandmother of Mollie (John) Davis, Mayana Karpman, and Eden Karpman; loving great-grandmother of Mira Davis. There will be a memorial service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at Riderwood Chapel, 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring. The family will be receiving friends at the home of Gertrude Karpman on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Locks of Love (www.locksoflove.org) or a charity of your choosing.
