Happy Passover

Every erev Passover, I sit down with a number of different Haggadot, or with various pieces of information from the Internet.

I try to make the seder better and more meaningful.

But usually, just having my family and close friends nearby is what I look forward to the most for seder.

There are certain people in the Washington D.C. area who have become like family to me, teaching me about this wonderfully diverse Jewish community.

My wish is that no one go hungry this Passover, that no one be the subject of cruelty, trauma or abuse. My hope is that we Jews of every denomination or unaffiliated find common ground in the teachings of the Haggadah.

And that we all emerge from Passover able to answer why these coming nights are different than any other nights.

Have a wonderful Pesach.

Never miss a story.
