Honey Apple Cake, serves six


3/4 cup white sugar
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
3 eggs
3/4 cup honey
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups all-purpose baking flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and shredded

• Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
• Grease and flour pans.
• In bowl, stir together sugar and all wet ingredients.
• Combine all dry ingredients and stir into batter until just moistened.
• Fold in apples.
• Place mixture in pan.
• Bake in oven for 20 minutes, turn pans and bake additional 20 minutes or till toothpick comes out clean.
