On Oct. 15, Irwin Kaplan, 80, administrative law judge, National Labor Relations Board and labor arbitrator. A remarkably caring and kind human being. He was very much loved by his family, children, their spouses, 10 grandchildren and his many friends. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 53 years, Eva. For those who would like to make a donation in Irwin’s name, please do so to a charity of your choosing. Services were held at Danzansky-Goldberg Memorial Chapel in Rockville on Oct. 18.
I remember Irwin very well from his days in the Bronx. We played paddleball together. We had some interesting chats while walking civilian patrol. I liked Irwin very much. My condolences to Eva and the kids.
