More than 8,000 volunteers of all ages participated Sunday in projects for the Sara & Samuel J. Lessans Good Deeds Day in Washington, Maryland and Virginia, Good Deeds Day was sponsored by The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. Washington Jewish Week was the media sponsor.
