Born July 24, 1916 in Brooklyn, N.Y., he passed away on May 28. He was a businessman, a designer of handcrafted jewelry, a bon vivant and truly joyous and generous soul. He was married to the Rose Fox for 51 years. He is survived by his children, Barbara “Bif” Williamson and Howard, two sons-in-laws, Dale Williamson and Douglass Messerli, and grandchildren Andrew and Stephanie Williamson. A memorial service was to be held at the Bethesda Jewish Congregation in Bethesda. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends Club, a non-for-profit therapeutic social club for men living with Alzheimer’s Disease, also located at 6601 Bradley Boulevard, Bethesda, Maryland 201817.
