Jonah Aaron Goldscher (Yona) was born April 9 at Holy Cross Hospital, to Eric and Havi Goldscher of Silver Spring. Celebrating Jonah’s birth are his brother Ezra Samuel, grandparents Ann and Jay Goldscher of Columbia and Tammy and Allan Arbeter of Philadelphia, and great-grandparents Mitzi Goldscher and Irene Goodman of Baltimore. Jonah’s brit took place April 16 at Ohr Kodesh Congregation and was officiated by Rabbi Rappaport and Rabbi Fishman. Named after his paternal great-grandfather, Arvin Goldscher, Jonah was seven pounds, eight ounces and 21-and-a-quarter inches when he was born.
