Julia Leigh Felrice, daughter of Patricia and Scott Felrice of Germantown, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Aug. 31 at Temple Beth Ami in Rockville. Joining in the simcha is brother Ryan and grandparents Gerald and Judith Suffin of Rockville and Joel and Helen Felrice of Montgomery Village. For her mitzvah project, Julia participated in the Remember Us Project, a program dedicated to the remembrance of children who perished in the Holocaust before they were able to celebrate their b’nai mitzvah.
She is an eighth-grader at Rocky Hill Middle School in Clarksburg.
