On Monday, Oct. 14, Julius Marvin Waghelstein of Del Ray Beach, Fla., formerly of Bethesda. Beloved husband for 64 years of Mitzi Waghelstein; devoted and loving father of Alan (Elyse) Waghelstein, Nancy (Stewart) Cherner, Diane (Steve) Jaffee and David (Ellen) Waghelstein; adored grandfather of Brett Waghelstein, Michael Cherner, Carey Cherner, Brian Jaffee (Jordan Fuqua), Scott Jaffee, Matthew Jaffee, Andrea Waghelstein and Evan Waghelstein; dear brother of the late Shirlene (Al) Platshon and the late Sidney Waghelstein; loving uncle to Judy Platshon and Mark (Leslie) Platshon; dear brother-in-law of Sheila Rossan (Alfred Greenberg). Also survived by his devoted caregivers, Donovan and Janet Lewis. Services were held Oct. 17 at the King David Memorial Gardens Chapel in Falls Church.
