Emily (Stockett) and Marc Silverman of Kensington, joyfully announce the birth of their daughter, Katherine (Kate) Rose Silverman, on Oct. 8 at Shady Grove Hospital. Kate weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Also welcoming Kate are her big brother Andrew and her grandparents, Ilene and Allen Silverman of Germantown and Brenda and Allen Stockett of Towson. Kate was named in memory of her maternal great-great aunt Karletta, and her paternal great-grandmother Rella. Her Hebrew naming will be celebrated this spring, the same time as her baby cousin.
