On Thursday, July 18, Leon Senders of Hollywood, Fla. He leaves behind Brenda Senders, his dedicated wife of 66 years, his two daughters Rita and Cherri, his son Stanley and his six grandchildren. He was so very proud of his whole mishpochah. Leon was a valiant and courageous fighter against Nazi oppression in the Russian underground during World War II. He was a loving and caring husband and father who came to America with his bride and 2-year-old daughter and built a wonderful life from the ashes of post-war Europe. He loved life, puns, jokes, skiing, boating and more and provided well for his family in Washington, D.C. before retiring to Florida.
