Ellen Kalin and Moti Shair of Silver Spring and Laurie and William Nada of Irvine, Calif., announce the engagement of their children, Lital Beth Shair and Garrett Michael Nada. Lital is the granddaughter of Joan and Stanley, z”l, Kalin of Silver Spring and Sarah and Chaim, z”l, Shair of Kfar Saba, Israel. Garrett is the grandson of Grace z”l and Nathan z”l Guss and the late Susie and Bill Nada of California. Lital and Garrett are graduates of Brandeis University, where they met. Garrett also holds a master’s degree from The George Washington University. They live in Washington, D.C. A 2015 wedding is planned.
