Mala Berman (Halpert) passed away on March 5. Those who knew Mala would describe her as the brightest light in the room. She was warm, loving and vivacious, showing tremendous strength in the face of her health challenges these last four years. Beloved mother of Karen (Gary) Blufer, Denise Berman and Tracy Heyn. Cherished grandmother of Elliott (Alica) Blufer, Jonathan (Bradley Steiger) Blufer, Jacqueline (Adie) Rose, Joseph Rose, Marty (Erin) Heyn and Jason Heyn as well as great-grandmother of Caden Blufer. Devoted partner of Barry Tossman and dear sister of the late Leo Halpert, the late Nathan Halpert and the late Eva (Howard) Levenson.
