Marianne Ehrenfeld Schmelzer Smulin, of Bethesda, passed away on Jan 29. She was 99. Devoted mother of John D. Schmelzer (Naomi) and Wendy Schmelzer (Robert); loving grandmother of Joseph (Amanda), Elliot (Kait), Ben, Jeff and Mike (Amanda); cherished great-grandmother of Jake, Ryan, Nathaniel and Jacob. Donations may be made to Planned Parenthood. Services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield Danzansky Goldberg Funeral Care.
