Matthew Falk Shopsin and Jennifer Gayle Tucker
Sam and Debby Tucker of Potomac have announced the marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Gayle Tucker, to Matthew Falk Shopsin, son of William Shopsin and Susannah and Michael Lewis of New York, on Sunday, June 3 at the Sixth &?I Historic Synagogue in Washington, D.C.
Jennifer’s grandparents, Geraldine Tucker of Baltimore, Judith and Fred Meisel of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Anita Cohen of Bellevue, Wash., joined in the simcha, that was officiated by Rabbi David Rose.
Jennifer is a graduate of American Hebrew Academy in Greensboro, N.C., and received her bachelor’s degree in architecture from Miami University in Ohio and a master’s in architecture from the University of Michigan.
Matthew received his bachelor’s degree in material science and engineering from Brown University in Rhode Island, and a master’s in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of Michigan.
The two reside in Redwood City, Calif., where Jennifer works as an architect, and Matthew works as a software engineer.
