Melissa is a 2010 graduate of the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, College Park. During her college years she wrote for numerous campus publications and completed internships with the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, Moment Magazine and WTOP Radio.
Aside from journalism, Melissa’s main passions are Jewish education and music. She teaches Sunday school and tutors b’nai mitzvah students. Melissa sings with the Washington Metropolitan Gamer Symphony Orchestra’s choir and plays clarinet in her spare time.
