Michael Lawrence Spekter passed away on July 5. He was 72. Michael was born in Philadelphia to Ruth Spekter and the late Bernard Spekter. He studied at Villanova University, University of Arizona and Temple Law School. Michael was proud to represent federal, national and private sector employees in Washington and Maryland, as he protected their workplaces and civil rights. Michael taught as an adjunct law professor at The University of Baltimore, Angelos School of Law and American University, Washington College of Law. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Eirinne Spekter; sister, Barbara Ghen; nephews, Matthew and Evan Ghen; and niece, Katie Ghen-Simpson. He was also predeceased by his brother, Robert Spekter. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
