Edwin and Toby Heilweil of Potomac have announced the marriage of their daughter, Naomi Heilweil, to Jimmy Rotenberg, the son of Fred and Sally Rotenberg of Providence, R.I. The couple was married on June 2 at Brown/RISD Hillel in Providence. The wedding was officiated by Rabbi Wayne Franklin of Temple Emanuel in Providence and Cantor Marshall Kapell of B’nai Tzedek in Potomac. Rabbi Mordechai Rackover gave a d’var Torah.
Naomi is the granddaughter of Israel and Harriet Heilweil of Princeton, N.J., and Norman z”l and Dorothy Zankel z”l of Potomac. Jimmy is the grandson of Leonard and Ruth Rotenberg of Providence and Sam z”l and Lenore Sherwin z”l of Chicago.
Naomi, a graduate of Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Rockville and a graduate of Brown University, is pursuing a career in animal behavior and training. Jimmy, also a graduate of Brown University and a graduate of Alpert Medical School at Brown, is a medical resident at New York University. The couple currently resides in Brooklyn.
