Arnold “Arnie” Arens

On Jan. 12, Arnold “Arnie” Arens, of Silver Spring. Much loved husband of Ruthie Arens; devoted father of Jeff Arens (Lisa) of Ellicott City and Robin Arens Lewis (Greg) of Germantown; beloved brother of Bunny Heller of New Jersey and Larry Arens (deceased) of New York; cherished Papa of Brittany and Lexi Arens of Ellicott City. Arnie was a gentle, devoted family man eager to help a friend or family in need. Even during his times of declined health he was never one to complain. He was so thankful to the wonderful people at Olney Assisted Living. He was an architectural consultant representative in the commercial glass industry. Arnie was a role model for his children and grandchildren. Contributions may be made to Olney Assisted Living.

Beatrice (Weinberg) Dunayer, 93, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Silver Spring, passed away on Jan. 8. She leaves behind her sons Fred of Sarasota and David of Baltimore.
