Peter A. Lees died on Aug. 6, a week shy of his 52nd birthday. He was the son of the late Joan and Richard Lees. He is survived by Diana (Rich) Schmidt, Rhonda Lees of Arlington, Matthew (Susan) Lees, nephews Joshua and Jacob Lees and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lees lived in the Washington area, including Silver Spring, from 2014 to 2017. Born on Aug. 13, 1969, he recently became involved in his lifelong dream of producing movies and television shows. After graduating from the Hackley School, he attended Brown University and later Yale University School of Management, earning an MBA degree in marketing. He lived abroad for many years — Taiwan, Singapore, Tokyo and Paris — eventually settling in Miami.
