On Nov. 25, Peter Hoch. Dr. Hoch was born in Budapest, Hungary. He attended Brooklyn Technical High School and City College of New York from which he graduated with a degree in electrical and communication engineering as well as receiving his doctorate from George Washington University. He retired from IBM and Lockheed Martin. He then started a career as an adjunct college professor for the University of Maryland. Dr. Hoch was a member of Order of the Arrow as well as an Eagle Scout. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Marion, as well as his children Flora (Eric) Kessler and Daniel (Rachel) Hoch; son-in-law Leon Wilkowsky; his grandchildren Jacob, Helaine, Matthew, Hailey, Naomi, Sarah and Ellie; brother Thomas (Cheryl); sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Helen and Stanley Blum; and his devoted niece Deborah Blum. He is predeceased by his daughter Karen Wilkowsky and parents Joseph and Klara Hoch. Funeral services were held Nov. 28 at Shaare Torah Congregation in Gaithersburg.
