Professor Robert Bennett Lubic Esq., of Chevy Chase, D.C., died on Sept. 16. He was 92. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., he was a longtime resident of Washington, D.C. He attended University of Pittsburgh, University of Pittsburgh Law School and Georgetown University School of Law. After a stint at the FCC and a private law firm, he taught business and international law for 40 years at American University Law School, where he was the associate dean and received the Outstanding Teacher. He was an active member of the Cosmos Club and also a Korean Army veteran.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Benita Alk Lubic; three children, Wendie Lubic Binstock (Seth Binstock), Bret Lubic (Caroline Haelig) and Robin Bliss (Steven Sutlief); and five grandchildren.
