Robert Slavin, of Middle River, Md., passed away on April 24. He was 70. An educator, he founded the Success for All Foundation and the Center for Research and Reform in Education at Johns Hopkins University. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Madden; his children, Jacob, Benjamin and Rebecca Slavin; his siblings, Thomas, Daniel (Parin), Paul (Susan) and Julia (John Arnholz) Slavin; his grandchildren, Adaya, Leo and Ava; his mother, Miriam Slavin; as well as more friends and family. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Slavin.
