The Royal Dragon kosher restaurant has been ordered out of its location in Rockville.

“You are hereby notified that you are scheduled for immediate eviction,” reads a notice on the front door.

The notice was posted on the door of the restaurant in the Randolph Hills Shopping Center on Oct. 27 by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, according Lt. Col. Bruce Sherman, sheriff’s spokesperson.

The District Court on Sept. 14 ordered the restaurant to pay $57,749.32 in past-due rent to Randolph Properties, which owns the shopping center, plus $60 in court costs.

Allen Kronstadt, managing partner of Randolph Properties, said the restaurant was a month-to-month tenant for eight years.

“I’ve been working with them for years to renovate the store,” said Kronstadt. “This is a long time coming.”

He added that he is searching for another kosher restaurant or catering facility for that site.

David Moin, an owner of the Royal Dragon, said the restaurant is closed. He declined to comment further.
