Ruth Kurjan

On Oct. 30, Ruth Kurjan (nee Rosenthal), 97, of Hilton Head Island, S.C. Beloved wife of the late Harold; devoted mother of David Kurjan and Linda Shanker; dear mother-in-law of Randy Kurjan and Bruce Shanker; proud grandmother of Joshua Kurjan and Judith (Stephen) Kurjan-Frank. Cherished sister of the late Janet Teller; loving aunt of Richard Teller and Hope Schwab. Longtime resident of Yeadon and Bryn Mawr, Pa., and Gaithersburg and Rockville. Graveside interment was at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Collingdale, Pa. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to one’s local Jewish family services organization or a charity of the one’s choice.
