David and Leah Gottesman of Atlanta have announced the birth of their son, Samuel Julius Gottesman (Hebrew name Simcha Yehuda), who was born Aug. 25. Also celebrating his birth are his grandparents, David and Roz Zinner of Columbia, Toby Gottesman of Bethesda and Gail Singer of Potomac, and his great-grandmother Lotte Zinner of Columbia. Rabbi Joshua Heller officiated Samuel’s brit Sep. 1. Samuel was 6.5 pounds and 18.5 inches when he was born, and is named after his great-grandfathers.
