Sara Pearl Apelbaum, daughter of Laura and Perry Apelbaum, will become a bat mitzvah tomorrow at Adas Israel Congregation in the District.
A fifth-generation member of Adas Israel, Sara is the granddaughter of Faye and Sheldon S. Cohen and the late Elaine and Jacob Apelbaum.
She is an eighth-grader at Westland Middle School in Bethesda.
