On May 31, Shirley Adams Lippman of Rockville, formerly of Bangor, Maine, and Long Beach, N.Y. She was the beloved mother of Anita Lippman Lann (Alvin) of Rockville and Stephen Lippman (Sharon) of Palm Harbor, Fla.; adored “bubbe” of Gabrielle Lann Kramer (Ari) of East Northport, N.Y., and Jacqueline Lann Brockman (Jody) of New York City and “big bubbe” (great-grandmother) to Aviva, Lilah, and Maya Kramer. She is also survived by one brother Benjamin Adams of Florida and many loving nieces and nephews. Shirley retired from the Montgomery College Book Store, a job she truly enjoyed. She was always excited when the new semester began and she could help students get settled in. She also worked for many years as an executive assistant at the Long Island Independent Newspaper in Long Beach, N.Y. Her greatest qualities were her love of family and her loyalty to her friends.
