
Shlomo Fantl has joined the staff of The Garden of Remembrance (Gan Zikaron) Memorial Park in Clarksburg as a memorial counselor and funeral coordinator. He will be involved in funeral arrangements, memorial monument sales, advance family planning and community outreach.
Fantl was previously a funeral director at Sagel Bloomfield and Shomrei Neshama Funeral Homes and oversaw kashrut operations for the Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington. He received his bachelor’s degree in mortuary science from the University of the District of Columbia and a master’s degree in education administration from Loyola University in Chicago. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in Talmudic law from the Yeshiva College of the Nation’s Capital.
