Sue Ann Cimbricz, of Bethesda, died of cancer on Jan. 20.
Sue was the beloved daughter of Robert and Anita Cimbricz.
Sue was a graduate of Salamanca High School, class of 1977; graduated from Georgetown University in 1981 and attended the MBA program at Harvard University.
She is survived by her son Zachary Freeling; two sisters, Robin (John) Rider and Sandra Cimbricz; a brother, John (Melanie) Cimbricz; three nephews, Tadd (Tina) Rider and William and Clark Cimbricz; a niece, Brooke (Brian) Crouse; two grand-nieces, Ava and Kendall Crouse; one nephew, Ethan Rider; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her son Sam Freeling and her husband, Ken Freeling. Sue and Zack founded Spike Classic race in 2013, dedicated to Sam’s memory.
