On Friday, Aug. 16, Susan Ginsberg Chartoff. Beloved mother of Marion Chartoff, Alyson Chartoff and Laura Chartoff and cherished mother-in-law of Kevin Butler and Paul Alig; adored grandmother of Josephine Butler, Sophie Alig and Zoe Alig; beloved sister of Joan Medway and Douglas Ginsberg and precious friend of Maureen Fitzpatrick. Susan founded and managed Affiliated Psychotherapists: A Center for Changes in Long Valley, N.J. Susan participated as a clinical psychologist and recently as a psychologist/nurse practitioner at the center. She touched thousands of clients lives with her clinical skills, wisdom, and wonderful sense of humor. She recently moved to Birmingham, Ala., and resided with her daughter Marion and her family. Memorial contributions can be made to the Sarcoma Foundation of America or Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Funeral services entrusted to Edward Sagel Funeral Direction.
