When the six middle-school girls from Gesher Jewish Day School (6-2) took the floor for warm-ups before the ABC League championship game against Alexandria Country Day School, it was obvious they were undersized. The three sixth-graders, one seventh-grader and two eighth-graders dressed in their purple Gesher United jerseys were ready to show that the size of the heart was much more important than the size of the team or any one of its players.
