Yvonne Braunsberg Wagner, of Miami Beach, Fla., passed away on March 20. Yvonne was born in Berlin in 1929. Yvonne was a Holocaust survivor who came to England with her sisters at the age of 9 on a Kindertransport train. The rest of her family perished and Yvonne became a practical nurse at the age of 16. She met and was married to the late K Peter Wagner, the love of her life, in London and they were married for 67 years. Yvonne and Peter emigrated to the United States, where she became a business owner, president of B’nai B’rith Women, the first woman president of Temple Shalom, philanthropist and member of The Cosmos Club.

Devoted mother of Elizabeth Wagner, Charles (Cara) Wagner, Wayne (Nilka) Wagner; cherished grandmother of Michael (Allison) Lieberman, Jason (Kelly) Lieberman, Aaron, Henry and Moshe. Adoring great-grandmother. Loving sister to Lolo Farber. Contributions can be made to the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes.
