Ruthie Mae Sherling, of Silver Spring, died peacefully on Nov. 18. She was 83. Ruthie worked as a school secretary for Montgomery County Public Schools for over 40 years. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Donald L. Sherling; devoted mother of Debbie (Wayne) Jackson, Donna (Matthew) Bernhard and Steve (Michael Ross) Sherling; cherished grandmother of Vinnie, Ricky and Gina Jackson and Sophia Bernhard.
